Most carriers and Australia Post will provide an option to cover your goods against loss or damage. It may not be called ‘insurance’ however in most cases, as they’re not part of the insurance industry.

Whether we like it or not, no transport company gets it right 100% of the time. This includes Aust Post, Star Track and TNT. Items get misplaced, lost, delivered to the wrong address or damaged along the way. Transport is not a perfect process, largely because no matter how automated, it’s still a human process.
